Midfoot CT Protocol
Coverage
If possible, flex the hip and the knee joints.Please cover from the posterior margin of the os calcis to the midpoint of the metatarsals.
Resolution
Please use the maximal resolution the scanner allows with sensible radiation dose considerations. Please reduce the radiation dose for children and if gonads and other radio-sensitive organs are to be included.
Reconstructions
Sagittal and coronal and 3D reconstructions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If any additional non-orthogonal (angled) reconstructions are required, the correct angulation will be demonstrated in the images below. Please ensure these reconstructions are also performed in the indicated cases
